Greeters are positioned at every entrance of the church. It is the greeter’s job to welcome people and to help direct people. A greeter is often the first representative of Southview that people encounter when they enter the building.
The role of ushers is to work together with the Greeters during services and special events to assist in welcoming, directing and seating guests and others as needed. They are also tasked to collect offerings, be aware of the building layout to direct guests and be initial responders in emergency situations.
These individuals help answer questions our guests and congregation may have regarding our church ministries. They help provide information to our guests and congregation.
These individuals are responsible for preparing, setting up and cleaning up the coffee/tea table and water stations for our weekend gatherings.
These individuals act as tour guides to those joining us for the first time. They will greet newcomers and bring them to the different areas in which they need to go. As well as, assisting in getting them seated in the Worship Centre. Post service, these hosts will reconnect with the guest to help answer any additional questions.
Southview Kids Check-In
These individuals are stationed at our children’s check in area. They will greet and assist parents as they check in their children into children ministries.
