Weekly Online Liturgy: June 18 & 19, 2022

The Gospels describe numerous meals that Jesus has with others.  In each of these meals, Jesus taught about the Kingdom of God and revealed important things about Himself. In the weeks of this teaching series, “Eating with Jesus,” we’ll explore these deeply meaningful stories.

Please Note: This weekend we’re in the process of transitioning to a livestream service video option via Realm. For those of you who prefer to worship from home, we thank you in advance for your patience as we adopt this new system.

Tips for Worshiping at Home

Intentional

Come with expectancy, doing your best to remove distractions (not all distractions are avoidable… or bad). Be intentional about the atmosphere you are creating.

Participate

Unlike those who gather onsite, you do not need to wear a mask or sing gently.  Sing out loud, grab an instrument and play along, and pray out loud when prompted. Watching is good; participating is better!

Respond

After the liturgy ends, spend some time reflecting on what God could be saying to you and what you are going to do about it.  Talk about it with those you are with, or call up a friend.
