Week 11 Playlist | Jayne Burnham

I enjoy many genres of music … depending on my activity and mood determines what I will listen to. For our staff playlists, I’ve chosen a genre that hasn’t yet been showcased.  My many years of piano (yay, Toronto Conservatory of Music!) gave me a love for classical music that continues to grow as I discover beautiful new pieces and rediscover old.

In an era of noise, activity, and busyness… and now also of uncertainty and isolation… there is a calm and quiet that gentle music can bring. For me, instrumental music often speaks louder than words. It helps to direct my heart and soul to my God. I hope that you can relax and enjoy this choice of gentle music, not all classical but all instrumental (and one beautiful choral Requiem.)
