Our desire is to inspire, support, and equip families to grow as DISCIPLES who are learning from Jesus to know the Father’s voice, follow in obedience, and teach others to do the same all by the power of the Spirit. Because we believe that parents are the primary disciple-makers in their children’s lives, we seek to partner with parents from infancy through to adulthood in pursuit of this mission.
Parent Summit is an event we offer every 2 years for parents who would like to discover what it means to intentionally lead their children spiritually.
Through Bible-based teaching, age-appropriate worship, and a fun and engaging community, Southview Kids is a place where children are invited to pursue an authentic and growing relationship with Jesus.
We provide a safe and caring Nursery for our infants and toddlers, a Parent Room for moms and dads wishing to sit with their kids in a quiet place, and a Nursing Room for mom & infant. All areas in our Nursery are equipped with a live video feed of our worship service; a change table and microwave are also available.
Preschool (2 years – Kindergarten)
A good start can make all the difference in the world for your child. As they begin their experience with God, kids need the opportunity to develop their sense of wonder. Through hands-on play adventures, children in Preschool focus on one key truth each week.
Grade School (Grade 1-4)
Kids keep growing, and so does their desire to discover. Children participate in hands-on workshops and creative worship moments with a constant group of friends.
Kids keep growing, and so does their desire to discover. Children participate in hands-on workshops and creative worship moments with a constant group of friends. In addition to weekends, we also have a number of Friday events throughout the year. These are a great time to build community for our Grade 5&6 students as they prepare to enter adolescence and junior high.
CORE is a weekday discipleship experience for all Grade School students (Grade 1-6). A place for Grade 7-9 students to regularly gather on Tuesday nights from 7:00-9:00pm at Walden (unless otherwise noted). QUAVE is comprised of two elements: large group and small group. In large group, all students are together for fun games, live worship, and a relevant message geared towards Jr. High students. In small groups, students are given the opportunity to continue building friendships with their peers and leaders while discussing issues relevant to their faith. Additionally, once a month the Jr. High group joins together for a special Friday night event (typically the first Friday of each month) to continue building community and reaching out to others with the love of Jesus.
A place for Grade 10 – 12 students that takes place Tuesday nights from 7:00-9:00pm at Walden. The focus is on seeing God transform the way we think and live. Students are encouraged and equipped to own their faith, express Christ’s love and give hope to others (1 Thessalonians 1:3). Every Revolution involves plenty of fun, live worship, a relevant message and small group time. It is in small groups where community is built and the truth of God’s Word is unwrapped.
